These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with Platform Spare Parts. Please read them before buying.

1. About us
This website is operated by Platform Spare Parts, a supplier of OEM and aftermarket parts for the powered access industry, based in Shropshire, United Kingdom. You can reach us at support@platformspareparts.com or on 01743 612004.
2. Placing an order
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy the listed goods. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation. We may decline an order where stock is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred, or we cannot verify the correct fitment.
- Part compatibility shown on a listing is provided in good faith; you are responsible for confirming the correct part for your machine.
- Where you are unsure, contact us with your machine model and serial details before ordering.
3. Pricing & payment
Prices are shown excluding VAT unless stated otherwise, and VAT is applied at checkout at the prevailing rate. We take reasonable care to price goods correctly, but if we discover an error we will contact you before dispatch to confirm or cancel the order.
4. Delivery
In-stock lines are typically dispatched from our Shropshire facility within 48 hours. Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; title passes once payment has cleared in full.
A flat delivery charge of £15 applies to each order placed through this website and covers standard mainland UK delivery. We do not offer online checkout for deliveries outside mainland UK: for international and offshore orders, please contact us and we will confirm the current delivery cost and arrange your order directly.
5. Returns & cancellations
Unused goods in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Electrical components that have been fitted, wired, or had their seals broken cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons unless faulty. Made-to-order and custom-manufactured items are non-returnable.
6. Warranty
We provide a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects on the parts we supply, from the date of delivery. The warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, incorrect fitment, or damage caused by misuse or modification.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim is limited to the price paid for the goods in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of hire revenue or downtime.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
